Pastor Roderick Threets' Bio

Pastor Roderick Threets is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Greater Life Ministries of Michigan, a Christ-centered ministry established in July 2022 with a vision to proclaim the Gospel, empower believers, and bring spiritual transformation to the lives of many through the power of the Holy Spirit.

He was ordained to preach the Gospel in 1982 at the age of 20, answering the call of God, with a heart full of passion, humility, and unwavering dedication. Since that time, Pastor Threets has faithfully served in a variety of leadership roles that have shaped his pastoral voice and spiritual authority — including Minister of Music, Director of Men’s Ministry, Instructor of The Kingdom Man’s Class, and Campus Pastor. In each assignment, he has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, integrity, and the spiritual growth of God’s people.

With over four decades of ministry experience, Pastor Threets brings a powerful blend of seasoned wisdom, dynamic preaching, and compassionate leadership. His ministry is marked by a strong emphasis on biblical truth, discipleship, and personal transformation. He is a shepherd at heart, known for his ability to connect with people across generations, and for his vision to raise up mature believers who live with purpose, power, and passion for God.

Greater Life Ministries exists as a beacon of hope and a refuge of healing — embodying Pastor Threets’ lifelong conviction that every believer can experience the fullness of life in Christ. His ministry continues to impact lives through preaching, teaching, mentoring, and pastoral counseling

Pastor Threets has been happily married to First Lady Angela Threets since 1986. He is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science and Communications. 

Pastor Threets lives by the declaration of Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” His desire is to see souls saved, leaders developed, and the Church walking victoriously in the power of God’s Word and His Presence..
